All over the world museums are packed with beautiful portraits of people from all ages. Did you know that most of them are painted on commission? A painted portrait is a timeless possession and an interesting conversation topic. It tells many stories. Who is the sitter? Why is it exhibited here? Who painted it?
More than 50 of my paintings are depicted on this website. The 'Commissions' usually are painted in a more friendly style; in this category my painting style depends on what the customer likes best. In the 'Other portraits' I work with more contrast in both shape and colour. My 'Self portraits' give me the opportunity to exaggerate and are probably the least pleasing. These last two galleries also contain paintings that are for sale.
